Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and reliable truck driver to join our growing team to service a range of businesses throughout the Melbourne metropolitan area.

You will be responsible for operating a rear loading compactor truck with the collection of various types of bins from customers and sites, service the requirements of existing customers and promote our services to prospective customers where possible.  Flexibility is also required as from time to time you will need to undertake routine and preventative maintenance of all yard equipment and other duties as assigned by the Manager. 

To be successful in securing this role, you will have a minimum of 3+ years driving experience of HR or higher.  Strong communication skills, the ability to work well under minimal supervision with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, HARD WORKING and trust worthy nature is essential.  You will also be expected to treat the trucks as if they were your own and ensure you are safety conscious at all times.Compactor and mechanical aptitude is desirable but not essential.A uniform, safety equipment and company phone will also be provided to the successful applicant. 

The position is best suited to a highly reliable and motivated individual, who holds a current Heavy Rigid Truck Australian Drivers License and is an early riser.  In addition you will be a team player who has strong customer servicing skills both face to face and on the phone.  The ability to be professional and build rapport, and relationships with customers will be a must together with a pleasant and positive disposition. You will also possess a clean driving history and have the ability to follow instructions.  Reading and writing English is essential for the role.
