Driver

  • Full-time position
  • Salary Packaging available
  • Light Rigid License Required

Diabetes Victoria is the leading charity and peak consumer body working to reduce the impact of diabetes.

The Clothing Collection Drivers play an important part in raising the profile of Diabetes Victoria, as the employees are the voice and face of the organisation, particularly to many members of the community. They are responsible for the collection of pre-loved clothing and small household items which are then supplied to Savers Inc. This service provides essential revenue to enable the provision of important community support and information services, which assist Diabetes Victoria in raising awareness about diabetes.

You will be responsible for working to specific collection routes on a daily basis, picking up goods from our generous community donor base and bringing them back to our Campbellfield warehouse for sorting. All work completed is covered by strict health and safety guidelines.

A good hourly rate, supportive team and quality safe equipment is on offer.

If you have a current Light Rigid License, and can drive a 4 tonne manual box van and are enthusiastic about using your skills to make a difference in the lives of Victorians affected by Diabetes, then apply now!

Please note – a VicRoads 5 year History Report and Police Check must be completed as part of the application process.

A position description is available from www.diabetesvic.org.au. For queries please call Lynsey Walker on 9667 1705. Applications should be sent by Sunday 20 March 2016, quoting position title Driver.

*No agency applications please.
