HC Driver Position Available ( G&D Richards Transport Pty Ltd )

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced driver to join our team! We cart mostly general freight between Melbourne, Sydney & Brisbane.

The successful applicant will ideally have the following:

– minimum 2 years with HC or MC driving experience

– BFM Accreditation, or willingness to obtain

– Knowledge & compliance of load restraint laws

– ability to comply with company policy at all times.

– good communication skills & be able to follow instructions

– ability to keep the truck clean & presentable

– positive & can do attitude is a must

Driver preferably located between Coffs Harbour & Brisbane. Drivers will be home every weekend, but the odd trip to Melbourne on a weekend will be required, especially during peak times.

We are a small run family business looking to expand our fleet. Our trucks & trailers are maintained at an exceptional level.

We pay award wages which include km rate, overnight allowance & unload/reload rate.

Start date will be around the 4th of November, or as close to that as possible.

Successful applicant will be put on a 3 month trial. Uniforms & other driver incentives will be offered after that time.
